Arlows aluminium tube 1 metre AlMgSi0.5
Lightweight aluminium tube for clean custom piping. Weldable, corrosion resistant, available in many diameters.
1 metre lengths in AlMgSi0.5 (EN AW-6060). The alloy welds cleanly with TIG or MIG, forms well and builds a natural oxide layer against corrosion. Ideal for custom charge pipes, intake tubes and hard lines for cooling circuits. Diameter is selected in the variant.
Why this tube?
LIGHT
Aluminium saves weight versus steel. Useful for front-mounted charge pipes and anywhere mass matters.
WELDABLE
AlMgSi0.5 welds cleanly with TIG or MIG. Matches the Arlows bends, cones and beaded ends in the same alloy.
CORROSION
Good resistance to weather and many media. Suitable for charge air, intakes and cooling circuits. Not for fuel without compatibility check.
METRE LENGTHS
1 metre pieces. Larger quantities come as longer pieces when available. Cut, deburr, process further.
Use cases
- Charge pipes and intercooler piping
- Intake tubes and cold air routing
- Hard lines for water or oil coolers (with matching fittings and seals)
- Workshop fabrication, machine cooling, genset piping
- Not for fuel lines without material check and proper fittings
Technical data
| Part number | AR8359 |
| Material | Aluminium AlMgSi0.5 (EN AW-6060) |
| Length | 1 metre (metre lengths) |
| Diameter | see variant selection (outer diameter) |
| Finish | tube, as-pressed / raw |
| Processing | saw, deburr, weld (TIG/MIG), anodising possible |
Fitment and processing
Match the diameter to the mating part (silicone hose, bend, fitting) before purchase. Deburr the ends. Prefer the same alloy when welding. Connect with Arlows silicone hoses and suitable clamps (double wire or bolt clamp). For cooling circuits check material compatibility and seals. Do not exceed the limits of the finished system.
