Block heat. Protect components. Stick and go. Arlows gold heat shield tape is a self-adhesive high-performance heat protection made from fibreglass fabric with a gold aluminium surface. Ideal for shielding plastics, engine covers, interior areas and fuel system components from radiant heat – and more effective than conventional silver heat tape.
The 9.2 m roll gives you enough material for larger engine-bay and vehicle projects.
Why gold instead of silver?
UP TO 450 °C CONTINUOUS
Continuous reflection up to 450 °C, short-term up to 1,500 °C – built for the engine bay and motorsport use.
UP TO 75 °C DIFFERENCE
Temperature difference front to back up to 75 °C – noticeably less heat on sensitive parts.
