Arlows aluminium cone AlMgSi0.5 reducer
Weld-on end with bead. The hose sits firmly when the clamp closes.
Short end piece in AlMgSi0.5 (EN AW-6060). The bead gives the silicone hose a stop. Weld it to the aluminium tube, then fit hose and clamp. Diameter pair is selected in the variant (larger to smaller).
Why this cone?
BEAD
The hose has a stop and does not creep under the clamp. Secure hold under boost and vibration.
WELD ON
Weld to the tube, then hose and clamp. Same alloy as the Arlows straight tubes and bends. Clean weld with TIG or MIG.
REDUCTION
Transition from larger to smaller diameter. Connects charge pipe to silicone hose or water feed.
LIGHT
Aluminium saves weight. Corrosion resistant. For custom piping in charge air and cooling circuits.

Fitment
Match the diameter to the tube and hose. Deburr the ends. Weld to the aluminium tube (prefer the same alloy). Then slide on the silicone hose and tighten with a clamp (double wire or bolt clamp). The bead stops the hose from slipping.
