Arlows PTFE Replacement Sealing Olive Dash 3 to 20
The olive seals. Not the fitting alone.
Replacement sealing olive in PTFE / Teflon for Arlows PTFE AN fittings. Pick the size above, Dash 3 to Dash 20. For fuel, oil and hydraulics on PTFE hose. A damaged olive is often why the joint leaks, not the hose.
PTFE / TEFLON
Chemically inert, non stick, dimensionally stable. Stands E85, petrol, diesel, methanol and oil.
DASH 3 TO 20
Pick the size above. Olive and fitting must share the same Dash size.
SPARE PART
For service, rebuilds and leaking joints. Keep the fitting and hose, renew the olive.
SEALS UNDER LOAD
Compresses the PTFE core from the inside and between the layers. Without the right olive the fitting will leak.

Fitment
Pick the olive in the same Dash size as the fitting, not by eye. Remove the old olive, clean the seat, fit the new olive per the PTFE instructions and crimp. Too tight kills the olive, too loose leaks. Do not reuse a crushed or cut olive. Check for leaks again after the first heat and the first pressure cycle.
