15 meter titan heat protection tape
The new titanium technology makes this heat protection tape heat resistant till ~ 1400 ° C. Even after several thousand kilometers, you can still unreel this heat protection tape easily.
It is a role (15 meter) heat protection tape to wrap your exhaust system.
The tape is ~ 75mm wide and ~ 2mm thick.
It is a high-quality titan heat protection tape which is suited perfectly to wrap around your manifold, hose pipe or exhaust system.
To completely wrap a 4 cylinder manifold you will need ~15 meter of this tape.
For fastening the heat protection tape we recommend our V2A cable ties.
Advantages in operation:
-The response behaviour of the turbocharger is improved because more heat is delivered to the turbocharger.
-The engine compartment temperature will be reduced greatly.
-any components / units / wiring harnesses in the immediate vicinity are protected from the heat.
-manifolds/bifurcated pipes tend to last longer because of the slower cooling process as internal tensions can be minimized.
Caution:
At the first implementing all heat protection tapes tend to smoke.
This behavior stops after a few minutes.
