Applications
For custom line systems, such as connecting two fuel pumps to a common suction line where the cross-sections and complete system are suitably designed.
Installation & notes
Clean and inspect the threads and sealing faces. AN/Dash flare fittings seal on the matching conical face; do not use thread tape on that connection. Use suitable tools to hold the mating part, route lines without strain and check the completed assembly for leaks. Follow the component manufacturer’s tightening instructions.
Common question
Does the Y-block automatically divide flow equally?
No. Distribution depends on the pumps, line resistance and complete system design. The block does not replace flow control or check valves.
